Obsession with shoes!... and bags too

After music class every Saturday, I will make the same request "I want to go try shoes.".  Sometimes Mummy and Daddy allow, sometimes they don't.  But the condition to try is I am not allowed to buy any shoes, because I have too many pairs of shoes already. 


Besides shoes, I am also a baggie lover. Truly a girl I am to be so in love with shoes and bags, right.

After Mummy returned to work, Grandma took care of Alyna and me.  Grandma decided to let Alyna try sleeping in the sarong, as she felt Alyna would sleep more soundly in it.

First of the many firsts to come

Alyna took her first ride on the MRT shortly after she turned 3 month old.  Well, this would be her "first" of her many firsts to come. 

Although it was only short ride, a few stops away from our home, to the shopping mall,JCube, that was enough to get my really excited because I could again put my EZ link card to use! Yay!

Special Birthday Treat for Mummy

Papa took Mummy out for a nice birthday meal at TWG, ION. Of course, Alyna and I went along. How could we possibly miss out from such a special meal with Mummy...

Mummsy's Birthday

Mummy turned another year older on 12 April 2012. Shh! Like I said in my past entries, her age is a secret. What's most important she stays young and pretty! 


Alyna turned 3 months old on Mummy's birthday.

We had a simple but enjoyable celebration at home. As you can see, we took so many pictures. Everyone was so eager to have a photo with Alyna.

Love note from admirer?

I came home one day with this piece of note.  When I showed it to Mummy, she thought I had written it for her, and was impressed by the neat handwriting.  

I said "No, kor kor gave it to me".  

Mummy frowned and asked "Why did kor kor give you this?"

I shrugged my shoulders and said "Don't know?"

Mummy asked "Do you know what it says?"

I said "I love you"

Mummy thought... "Hmm.. kids nowadays..." 

Anyway, this K2 kor kor takes the same school bus as me.  We often sit together on the bus and we like to chit chat with each other. Kor Kor also often gives me things like stickers.

Kite Flying at Marina Barrage

We have organized several outings to the Marina Barrage to fly our kite. But too bad, the weather has not been kind to us, and it rained so heavily whenever we planned to go there. Finally, we decided to try again on Good Friday holiday on 6 April 2012. 


I was so excited and woke up early in anticipation of the outing. Everyone woke up early too, and we were all happy to see Mr Sun shining brightly up in the sky. We got ready very quickly and just when we were making our way out of the house..... Thunder rumbled in the skies... Lightening struck, and not before long... the rain drops trickled down.  Oh no!!  Since we were already in the car, and about to make our way off, we decided to go ahead with our plan, hoping it would not be raining at Marina Barrage.  As we drove, the rain became heavier and heavier and we knew it was impossible to fly our kite.  We ended up at Vivo City for lunch... Guess what? Thankfully the rain stopped after we had eaten. Yay! So off to Marina Barrage we went..
