I was looking at Junior...
Still looking at Junior...

Mummy and Daddy decided to get Junior into the picture, but look what I was doing. "Ouch!" shrieked Junior.

Headbands

Mummy insists I wear a headband everytime I go out. She thinks I look sweeter with a headband on. So far, I have been good. I never pull it off. Let me show you my collection. You've seen me in some of the photographs. Which do you think I look best in?

Getting to know Barney

Daddy wants to pose with me, but I am more eager to start my Barney ride.

So Daddy lifted me out of the seat...
Next is Mummy's turn to have her photo with me. Quick, I want to have my ride!

Yay! Finally... I can't sit steadily on my own yet, so Mummy has to hold on to me.
Smile, I am happy after the ride. Can I have another ride?

Downtown Christmas

It's my first X'mas and so I've got to see the lightings in Orchard Road. Mummy and Daddy kept their promise. A week before X'mas, we went downtown with Grandma and Grandpa. Wow, it was so crowded. We had to wait before finally getting our chance to snap some pictures. I was so distracted by all the lights, that everyone had to keep shouting my name "Ariel, Ariel, here here!" Oh oh, rememeber I promised to show you the new dress which Mummy bought... there, I am wearing it. Don't you think I look fabulous! hee.. well, at least my Mummy and Daddy think so.

We started from Wheelock Place and headed down to Forum Galleria. After the photo-taking, everyone was hungry and had dinner at Modesto.

All smiles, because it's time for some pasta and pizzas!

More Christmas stories

I promised to show you the X'mas tree at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Well, Grandpa says that they have used this tree for many many many years, so after this year, they will buy a new tree.

Looks at the all the prezzies under the tree... I wish they were all for me, but no, they are for everyone. Mummy says that gift exchange will be on X'mas Eve. Isn't that just a few days away. Hurray!

Just look - these are 2 of my prezzies from Grandpa and Grandma. And that's me in my new walker...

Preparing for Christmas

Mummy was on leave and decided to take Grandma and me out shopping. Guess what, we took the MRT downtown. Look, that's me on the escalator and while waiting for the train. I was really excited when on the train - couldn't stop bouncing on Grandma's lap and screaming at the top of my lungs. Mummy and Grandma had to keep reminding me to be quiet. But I want everyone to know I am really HAPPY!

Our first stop was to Raffles City... Itinerary included eating, shopping and taking photographs. Uncle Nick who was also on leave, joined us... and not forgetting Auntie Glecy too.

After Raffles City, we took a walk at Citylink and then eventually ended up at Suntec City. Wow, it's a long walk. But nah, I don't feel the least bit tired. You know why? Hee.. because I was being carried all the way. I was passed from Grandma, Mummy and Uncle Nick. And I had my "Toyota Vios" (that's what Daddy calls my stroller because it's small and light-weight as compared to other bigger strollers) - when everyone's arms are aching, they would put me back into the stroller.

Mummy said it was a fruitful shopping spree because she and grandma managed to buy gifts for many people and that includes me. Keep a lookout for my next entry. I will show you what I've got!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Christmas is round the corner and I sure can feel the jolly mood of Christmas lingering in the air. At grandma and grandpa's house, the huge 7ft Christmas tree is already up, decorated with red balls and ribbons. You will see some pictures real soon. At home, Mummy has also put up our tree too - it's smaller than grandpa's tree, but it's nice too! Mummy said she would buy me a new dress and we can all take a picture together on Christmas Day. Wow, I am so excited and have started counting down the hours!

First shot with the X'mas Tree...

Close-up shot of me

Yea, I'm smiling but still not looking at the cammy.

"Junior, let's pose together. C'mon, be good and look at the cammy."

"That's a good boy. Smile, Junior!"

Clap clap clap

On 4 Dec 09, Grandma waited excitedly for Mummy to return from work.

The moment Mummy came out of the lift, she announced loudly, "Ariel is so clever! She can clap her hands!"

"You sure?" Mummy asked Grandma

Grandma asked me to prove to Mummy, but I refused to cooperate.

Later that night, back at home, I showed Mummy my new trick and she was so impressed! "What a clever girl you are!" she said brimming with joy.

Junior & me

Mummy and Daddy always tell me to love Junior. Of course I do! We are always together at Grandma's house till Mummy and Daddy come to pick us up after work. Also, I always hear him go 'woof, woof, woof' when I was in Mummy's stomach. Mummy told me a lot about Junior. So I was really happy to finally meet him.

Oh, I love staring at Junior too and just looking at him makes me happy. Junior is white and fluffy and I would always try to touch him and there was once I pulled his hair so hard that he gave out a loud shrill. Oopsie, sorry Junior. Another naughty thing I do is kick Junior... but it's not intentional. That's because I am not allowed to touch him, so I try to feel him using my legs and in my excitement, I get a bit forceful, so they become strong kicks. Okay, I will try to be gentler next time. Sorry, Junior!

Outing to Vivocity

Mummy told Daddy that she has craving for Phad Thai . So Daddy decided to take us to Thai Express @ VivoCity.

So Mummy was all excited and dolled me up in my new outfit
Can you see the fats oozing out?

Before dinner, we took a stroll outdoors at Vivo. There was a huge X'mas Tree which was beautifully lighted up.

So mummy and daddy posed with me

But hey, where's the X'mas Tree? It's nowhere in sight in the photographs.

Family Outing

Can you make a guess where I was? Take a closer look at the photographs. Still no idea? It's the land of ice-cream - Swensons.

My new toys!

After my vaccination on Saturday, 29 Nov 08, Mummy and Daddy brought me shopping. Let me show off what I've got to you - a cuddly soft-toy which I've named "Cookie and a multi-coloured mat where I could lie comfortably to play with my toys. Hmmm... I sure hope these are not my X'mas prezzies! Mummy and Daddy, please say they are not.
