Ariel's busy weekend

I had a really busy weekend - the entire Saturday was packed with activities.

In the late morning...

Mummy brought me to the Changi Airport T3 to send pretty Aunty Maddy off. She is going to Hong Kong to work.

After seeing Aunty Maddy off, we went for lunch with Aunty Siti and Marsya jie-jie.

In the afternoon...

We got home from the airport, I had my porridge, slept for a very short while and I was off for my enrichment class at United Square. Mummy was worried that I was tired and would be cranky in class. But I did Mummy proud - in fact, I was a well-behaved girl in class that day! :)

In the evening...

After my class, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's church to witness them give their testimony. Wow, Grandma and Grandpa despite being married for SO long, attended a marriage course. So they were selected to share their stories. Bravo, Grandma and Grandpa! They did such a good job!

The evening did not stop there. After the church service, we zipped off to Great World City for dinner!

Finally... getting cranky! Time to end off the day and head home.

Happy Birthday, Junior

Junior turned 3 years old on 24 April - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUNIOR!

Mummy and Daddy bought Junior 2 prezzies - a soft-toy and a packet of treats. No birthday cake for Junior because he doesn't like and he will mess up the house with the cream.

Me holding on to Junior's prezzies.

Teasing Junior to take it from me. Poor Junior!

Junior trying to take what belongs to him.

I decided to be nice to the birthday boy - Here's a treat for you, Junior!

2 Front Teeth

Mummy and Daddy bought me 2 teethers since I was 5 months old, thinking that my tooth is coming out and my gums would need something to chew on. Nah, I did not want to bite on the teethers at all. So they have been sitting in the fridge, untouched!
Finally, at 10 mths old, my 2 bottom front teeth are coming out. When given the teether, I knew so naturally what to do. Mummy and Daddy were so happy to see me put the teether into good use.

My new Trick

I learnt a new trick - watch me do it in the video!

Bathing

I love bathing time! Grandma will always blow bubbles to make me laugh and I will always have my rubber duckies to accompany me when I shower.

Take it if you can, Junior

Do you remember I posted earlier a video of me playing with Junior? This is a similar video of us playing on that same day. But you've got to be patient to watch till the end of the video for some of the interesting actions.

Cold, cold, cold

I like to feel things which are cold. Whenever I go to the supermarket, Mummy will let me touch on the different cold items - ice-cream, yoghurt, etc. I get really excited and I will break out into giggles. Watch me in this video clip. I chanced upon Mummy's cooler bag and I found an ice pack inside. So I got really thrilled!

Playing on my own

Watch me playing very contentendly on my own in my playyard

At the Beach

There's a first time for everything. Going to the beach is also my first! We went to the East Coach Beach over the weekend. While Daddy was driving the beach, dark clouds started coming in but we decided to go ahead with our plans.

We took a quick stroll at the beach. It was really windy and I like it! Mummy put me on the sand for a short while, but I couldn't play with the sand because I didn't have an extra set of clothes. Daddy brought me near the waters and I was really intrigued by the sound of the splashing waves.

We left when we heard the thunders roared... and the moment we stepped in the car, big droplets of rain started falling. Phew! We made it in time.

The swing

This is the swinging chair at Auntie Iris's house. It's fun, because it can go up and down. Though I like sitting in there, I am still a little frightened, because I am afterall still a lil' girl!

A place I call my own

This is my playyard - Yes, it shall be my very own space. I know it is Mummy and Daddy's way of keeping me confined. They have to keep watch over me very closely now, as I am crawling all over the place now. I will venture all fours from the living room to the kitchen, to the bedroom... and they will be chasing after me.
It's nice being in the playyard, but I do not like being locked up for too long.

A walk by the Singapore Flyer

Mommy and Daddy brought me for a walk at the Singapore Flyer. Nope, I did not go UP into the Flyer. They say "Another time, dear."

Oppsie! Looks like we forgot to snap a picture of the flyer. Well, I'm sure I will be back and I will take a photo of me inside the flyer the next time.

Soundly asleep in the car. Getting recharged first!
Here we are - Arrived.
Evidence about my outing - So here's a poster of the flyer

Taking a walk in the outdoors. I forgot to bring along my shades. The sun is shining so brightly, I could hardly open my eyes.

Look at the orang utan... Are they real?
