What is this? What is that?

I am curious and want to lay my hands on everything I see.

What's in the box?

What's this plastic bag?

Is this my diaper? Let me pull them all out.

What is on my Papa's ears? Can I have it, Papa?

Bears and Dogs

I do not like dolls - at least not for now. I LOVE those soft and cuddly bears and dogs. Whenever I go out, I will choose one of my soft-toys to bring along. Well, you guessed it right, I do have quite a collection of them and Mummy says no more buying of soft-toys.

Going out with Grandpa is always nice because he will pamper me with gifts. I was out with Grandma and Grandpa on one weekend and I went home with a Paddington Bear! Of course, I was thrilled. Couldn't stop showering it with hugs and kisses...

Going home, in the car... I was all ready to doze off. It was not difficult to fall asleep with 2 of my favourite soft-toys in tow - my doggie and bear.

Corn

I am so tired of eating porridge... I will protest whenever Grandma dishes out another bowl of porridge during lunch or dinnertime. So Grandma and Mummy are thinking of new dishes to my menu. So on my list of food now, I have steamed potatoes, steamed carrots, corn, steamed broccoli, steamed cauliflower, french toast and the latest, macaroni! All healthy food! Nah, Grandpa does feed me with some 'sinful' foods too.

Anyway, I love drinking soup and eating corn! Nibble, nibble, nibble... Slurp, they are so sweet and juicy!

Amen!

Remember I said I could now say "Amen"... Here's it! In fact, I have progressed. Now I will go "Ahhhhh... MEN!" and I will say it loud and clear. Before meals, Grandma will say grace and she will always ask me to end off with "Amen".

Mummy is also teaching me to say my name "Ariel". Well, I am catching on pretty fast, but still needs some practice. I think I will soon be able to call "Junior". For now, it is still "Nior", for short.

My Papa is 1 year older

My Papa turns 1 year older last weekend. Happy Birthday, Papa! Mama and Papa went out for a private birthday celebration without me. After blowing the birthday cake at home with me, Grandma and Grandpa, they left for dinner at ChongQing Restaurant and then went for a movie. That's why don't see me smiling (in fact I was rather sulky!) in the pictures below I was feeling upset to be left out from the outing.

Mummy is pointing to the cammy and asking me to smile. See, instead of smiling, I was pouting.

Vitagen and Clip

I haven't been allowing Mummy to put any clip on my hair. Everytime she tries, I will remove it, hand it back to her and say "No no". In the pictures below, Mummy managed to put this huge ribbon clip on my hair for a few minutes. That's because I was too engrossed with the bottle of vitagen. I love to drink vitagen. I refer to it as "cold, cold". Whenever I say that, everyone at home knows I am asking for vitagen. Mummy will pour out most of the vitagen and leave just a teeny weeny bit for me to enjoy.

See me sucking so hard.Oh no, no more left!
Hanging on to the straw for the last taste of vitagen.

"EL - MO"

This week, I made a new achievement. Yeah, I have managed my first two 2-syllabus words! Can you guess what they are? Hee... you won't believe it. They are "ELMO" and "AMEN".

Mummy showed me a video of Elmo in u-tube, singing the "Elmo Song". I enjoyed watching it so much that I kept pointing to the computer, asking for "EL-MO!" Watch me in the video and you could hear me say the word. Think Mummy kinda regrets introducing me to the computer and showing me the Elmo video, because it seems like I have become addicted. She does not want me to be hooked onto the computer at such an early age. Well Mom, I can't help it. I live in the computer technolgy age and I have to keep up with times.

I have this particular liking for this bag which Mummy has (Yes, the bag in the picture). Seems like I've got expensive taste huh. So when Mummy comes home from work and if she is carrying this bag, the first thing I say to her is "Bag, bag" and not "Mama". I will then walk to her and insist on carrying the bag.

Watch me in action, trying to carry the bag.
