Gong xi, Gong xi!
Guess what the occasion - National Day? Nope, wrong! Its Lunar New Year! Junior and I were prepped up for CNY - he in a red scarf (looking suave, huh!) and me, in a cheong-sum (pretty, right)
Lunar New Year was fun. Besides visiting many different houses, collecting lots of red packets, I was allowed to sleep later and also first the first time, tried many different kinds of cookies.
These were some of the pictures we took during the CNY period. We didn't take a lot this time because Mummy and Daddy were busy and (definitely!) tired looking after me, just in case I get myself in trouble. Last year, I was still a baby, so things were easier. But this year, I am a 'big' girl now and I can walk, run and roam around. So gotta be careful of me!
Oh yes, almost forgot to share - another achievement for me in this CNY. I know how to greet people we meet with a "Gong xi, Gong xi! Happy New Year!"

Birthdays
The year 2010 has started but we have already celebrated 2 birthdays - Ah-Yi's and Ah-Pa's. Mummy's birthday is next!
Here's what I sang to Ah-Pa on his birthday "Happy (missing word "Birthday) to You, Happy (missing word "Birthday) to You, Happy (missing word "Birthday") Ah-Pa!" - This is my version of birthday song. Somehow the word "birthday" is missing. Well, still the adults understand what I am singing and thinks it is really cute. Okay, I will try to learn the complete song by Mummy's birthday.

I looked as if I were the birthday girl, right.

Ah-Ma prayed a birthday blessing over Ah-Pa and I joined in the prayer too. But look at the cheeky grin on my face.

After dinner, the family took a ride on the Singapore Flyer. I was a brave girl, not at all afraid of the height.

It was really an exciting and enjoyable evening!
