Ariel turns 2 - Part 1 of the birthday story

I turned 2 years old on 18 June. Celebrations for me started as early as Sun, 13 June. I had nothing but a Great time. Well, Mummy and Daddy generously prepared for me not just 1 but 4! different sets of birthday cakes so I could share my special day with all my friends, aunties and uncles. Muacks, love you both!

Celebration No 1 - Birthday with grandma, grandpa, ah-yi, uncle bernard and jiu jiu.

And this was what became of the cake... well, still edible tho'!
Prezzie from mummy and daddy dearest. Mystery unravelled! Not the car you saw in my earlier previous entry. This is an even nicer car. It has all the Disney Princesses! Yes, Princess Ariel too!

New dress, new shoes... all from grandma. I showed off with a nice swirl!
Soccer Jersey from uncle bernard and ah-yi. Don't I look like a cutie soccer star?
Guess what... still has my name on it! Oops, forgot to showcase prezzies from jiu jiu. Well, he got me a beautful long white dress and a nice white hairband. Show you when I wear it next time.

Time to try the cake... See I finished it all up! So what have you got to say.. definitely it was GOOD!

Time to go the playground

Like most kids, I now enjoy going to the playground. It's fun and I'm no longer afraid of the slides and tunnel.

Ariel speaks mandarin

I just learnt to recite a Chinese poem. Mom and Dad love to hear me recite and kept asking me to repeat. They said I sound like an 'Ang Moh' speaking mandarin. Do I?

My BIG day!

Guess what Big Day is coming up? My 2nd Birthday! So Mummy and Daddy brought me to Toys 'r' us to shop for my prezzies. This toy car really attracted me so much that I gave it a try.

Do you think this will be my birthday prezzie? I don't know... you will have to read on to find out!

Outing to the library

It was my second time to the library. Mommy brought me to a nearby one at Lot1 shopping mall. I was so excited when I got there, because there was lots of other kor kors and jie jies there.

Mummy had to remind me "Shh.. this is the library. You've to be quiet!"

I browsed the books.. but it was only for a teeny weeny short time and I got distracted again.

I love these chairs. There were so many in the library and what I was more occupied with was pushing the chairs around, changing seats and transferring books from one table to another.

Watch me sleep

Oopsie... my not-so-nice sleeping poses were caught on camera! I usually bring along ots of my fave things with me when I go to bed each night - my doggies, my balls and barney.

Finally, the sleepy beauty has woken up - with such a messy look!

iphone and me

As I was saying in my previous entry, the iphone is a gadget for both the young and old. I am fast becoming a savvy iphone kid-on-the-block. I know just how to navigate the phone to go iinto the "Apps". My fave for now is the "You Tube" because I get to watch videos of Barney, Elmo, Dora, etc etc. Watch me in this video so hooked onto the phone (just ignore my daddy's voice in the background. He didn't know my Mummy was recording the video of me).

Cold Storage Kids' Run 2010

23 May 2010 - A bright and chirpy Sunday morning, all set for my race - the Cold Storage Kids' Run at the F1 Pit. To get me ready for this run, Mummy and Daddy bought me a new pair of Adidas running shoes.
