Mother's Day celebration

What was for Mother's Day celebration this year?
Daddy brought me and Mummy to Changi Airport T3 for a bite.
Look at our mango dessert. I couldn't wait to give it a go!

And Daddy and I bought Mummy flowers.. Beautiful
pink rosies.  Mummy, we love you!

Then we went to the kiddy play area for a little bit of
play time for me.

Then we met the entire family for a Mother's Day Dinner together.
Oh yea, we bought flowers for Ah-yi and Grandma too.

Here's Grandma with her flowers. Her's was the biggest bouquet!

Happy Grandma's Day!

Back home, we had a little cake for all mummies!
Guess what those flags there? Opp parties' flag. Election was
just over and Grandpa wanted to celebrate their 'win' in this election.

Mummy, so pleased with her flowers and me, together.
Oops, but I ain't looking at the camera

Family picture time.

Joshie's first time celebrating Mother's Day!

Marina Barrage

The big boys were flying the kites, the little ones and
the mummies sat down to enjoy the afternoon breeze.

Ah-yi and Joshie

Me and Joshie, with our new caps which Mummy bought

Joshie is curious and wanted to see what I was drinking

Daddy took a break from kite-flying, and we played
with our bubble guns, bought specially for this outing

Adding on to our list of visited parks or outdoorsy places is Marina Barrage. It was our second visit there.  Our first was a very brief visit, and with a short kite-flying session.  For this second visit, we asked Ah-yi, Uncle Bernard and Joshie along...  We were also more prepared this time.  We brought along a picnic mat, some drinks and some snacks. Papa also bought a new kite which was really quite a huge.  But too bad, the wind conditions were not in our favour.  Papa and Uncle Bernard tried and tried so many times, the kite still refused to stay up in the air.

But well, we all had a nice and relaxing time there.  For me, it was being able to run about freely and I could play with bubbles!

East Coast Beach

It was the Vesak Day long weekend.  We headed to the beach for a stroll and some sandplay together with Grandma, Joshie, Ah-Yi and Uncle Bernard.   I was so excited and brought along some toys for the sandplay.

Let's get our hands dirty!

The Lim family.

Having a feel of  the seawater.

Hey! Where's my feet?

Jacob Ballas Garden

2011 is the Year of Parks and Gardens.  That's Mummy and Daddy's goal for the year.  They want me to enjoy the nature and to adopt a healthy lifestyle, a change from walking the malls.

We are now halfway into 2011 and we are all happy that we've kept to our plans.  We've visited Marina Barrage for kite-flying, East Coast Beach for strolls, Botanic Garden to feed fishes, Jacob Ballas Garden.  Good job for our efforts!

Here are some pictures of our outing at Jacob Ballas Garden - a place just for kiddos like me!
Here we are - Jacob Ballas.

For a start, feeling sluggish and didn't want to walk.

Observing the tiny fishes...

Ah! A tiny playground with a slide...

Fun! I went on many many rounds.

We remembered to bring along our bubble gun.

A mini suspension bridge.

Walking on it all on my own.

Understanding the food making process...

A small sand area.

What a great way to end the HOT day - Waterplay!
We didn't prepare my swimwear, so here I am in my undies.
Well, no need to be shy. I'm not the only one.  There are some boys who went stark naked!

And a scoop of ice-cream before we call it a day!
