Belated update (3) - Off to a wedding dinner

I attended Mummy's cousin wedding dinner without Mummy (she wasn't feeling too well that night).  No, I went along with everyone else - Grandma, Grandpa, Jiu-Jiu, Ah-Yi, Uncle Bernard and Joshie.  I was a good girl that night and had a lot of fun.  Brought home several of the wedding door-gifts.
How do I look? I really loved my dress, black stockings and black shoes.

Handsome Joshie looking so boyish.

Belated update (2) - Father's Day

I said in my earlier post that we had a 2-in-1 celebration - my 3rd Birthday and Father's Day.  Here are some photographs of what we did that night for all the Daddies, who are just as important, just as noble, just as great as Mummies!

I love you "Papa" - this is how I fondly call him now.

All Daddies receive this cute gift.  The biscotti which looked like fries.
The 'hamburger' is actually brownie.

All the Daddies!

Joshie is happy because it is his first Father's Day with
Uncle Bernard.

Belated update (1) - My 3rd Birthday

I realised I haven't updated anything about my 3rd Birthday which was on 18 June.

It coincided with Father's Day and so we had a 2-in-1 celebration.

Let's start with my birthday.

We had a cosy celebration at home.  Mummy and Daddy prepared 2 fabulously beautiful cakes for me.  Simply loved both the cakes!
Beautiful Rapanzel cake. Looked good and tasted good too!

Posing with my favourite princess character

Ariel the mermaid, my other princess jelly cake -
Another hot favourite.

Though it's a small birthday celebration, the prezzies were many!
How blessed I am!

With all my loved ones!

Ah-Yi, Uncle Bernard and Joshie! Guess what,
Joshie was also very attracted to my cake!

Grandma and Grandpa!

Jiu-Jiu!

Time for the birthday song...

Let's cut the cake!
For dinner,  we bought pizza from Grandpa's fave pizza place - Pepperoni's.

Our really gigantic pizza! But we finished everything!
I couldn't wait to unwrap all my presents.  My favourite toys now are anything that has to do with Princess or Barbie dolls and anything cooking or kitchen set. Every week after my music class at United Square, I will ask to visit Toys 'r' us, and I will request to buy something of these.  Very much a girly girl I am.

Time to unwrap prezzies.  Tea set from Grandpa!

Joy and happiness shown all over my face.

Barbie bag from Faith che-che. Yay! Another of my fave.

Lovely long dress from Ah-Yi.

From Jiu-Jiu - another tea set! The more the merrier.

From Daddy and Mummy, because I love to express
my creative side too.  Thank God for them I do not draw on walls!

A singing Princess balloon from Grandpa.
Even Joshie was in awe of it.

Joshie loved my balloon. Grandpa told him he would
receive lots on his birthday in July, which he did!

Songs I sing

I do enjoy singing...  At times, Mummy and Daddy do not understand what I sing (especially the chinese songs), but yet still make me sing over and over again.  I think they enjoy listening to me sing.  These are 2 of the many songs I learnt in school this term.  Enjoy :)

Can you spell?

Bravo to me! I've mastered how to spell my first 3 words (other than my own name).  They are RAT,  HAT and CAT.  Notice anything similiar?  Yes, they all end with "at".

Now, Mummy is trying to teach me to spell DAD and SAD.  Words which end with "ad".  Let's see when I will master these 2 words.

Fun with my belly button

Joshua or Joshie as I call him have a "love-hate" relationship.  I don't hate him, but I'm not totally generous with him, especially when it comes to my toys.  But I do miss him when he is not at Grandma's house.  Hmm, I think I've grown to enjoy him and his company.  Here's one video of us having some fun at home.

Make-up? Me?

I'm like any other girl who likes to doll up, be clad in pretty long dresses... and put on a dash of make-up.  Oooh.. but Mummy thinks I'm a bit too too young for any make-up.

Auntie Siti and Marsya che-che bought me a make-up set, full of beautiful colours as a birthday present for me (Thank you, Auntie Siti and Marsya che che!!).  To tell the truth, I requested for it.  I loved it so much! But the rules of the game are (1) NO make up when going to school  (2) NO make up when when going out on weekend   (3)  Make up is ONLY for home play - that's all.    I agreed to the rules Mummy laid down for me.

Can you see my 'coloured' face?
Experimenting with colours, with
Mummy's help.

Faces and Expressions

Faces - that's one of my favourite things to draw now.  Using the magnet, I traced out the circular shape, then I added in the details and the different expressions - Angry, Sad and Happy.   Isn't that an achievement?  Pat on my shoulder for a good job!

"Bao Bei" Mama or Papa song

My Mummy and Daddy's favourite chinese song.  Especially after a long day at work, it is heart-warming to hear me sing this.  Listen to me sing and you will discover why.

Well in case you do not know Mandarin.  This song is about precious Mummy or Daddy.  After a hard day's work,  you welcome them home.  You ask them to take a seat, offer them a cup of tea and you give you a kiss on their cheeks.

I'm a GRADUATE of Baby Music Class

After attending 3 terms ( 30 weeks) of baby music class since November 2011,  I've graduated in June 2012.

To mark the end of the series of lessons,  we had a mini performance for all our parents on the last lesson, playing "Hot Cross Buns" on the piano.

All the kids dancing to the music

Playing "Hot Cross Buns" on the piano, with Ms Chua's help.

Before and after our performance, we had to bow to our audience.

My graduation certificate!

A group photo, with the kids and Ms Lo and Ms Chua

Not forgetting my goodie bag for a good performance!

After the goodbye song, it was bubbles time.

Thank You, Ms Lo (left) and Ms Chua (right)... I've enjoyed my classes!
