Ariel, Joshie and Alyna

Of all the babies at home - Me, Joshie and Alyna, Alyna is the one only born with lots of hair.

Let's take a look at our pictures...

This is me - Ariel!

This is Joshie...

And needless to say, this is Alyna...

God's word about 11 January

Alyna was born on 11 January 2012, and look what Grandpa read in his daily bread about God's word for this special day.  Mummy and Daddy were in awe when Grandpa shared it with them.. Wow! We thank God for Alyna... God's gift to us :)

Alyna's home!

After 2 days in the hospital, Alyna finally came home... What are some of her activities?  Let's see...

Sleeping is definitely one of the THE activities! Alyna soundly
asleep in her cot.

Accoding to the doctor, Alyna has to sunbathe twice a day to prevent jaundice.
Once in the morning at 9am and another in the evening at 5pm.

Bonding time with che-che Ariel!

Bathing! Alyna seemed to enjoy it a lot.
Mummy said it's because Alyna has lotsa hair, so it
feels cool and nice to shower.

Looking refresh after a shower :)

Drinking milk is also one of Alyna's fave activity.
Just look at her satisfied smile after her feed.
Mummy said I have a photo with this similiar expression too.

More about Alyna - Day 2

More pictures taken while Mummy and Alyna were at the hospital.

Papa loved to swaddle me, and he was really good at it.
Now he is happy to show off his skills again...

Ta-Dah! Here is a nicely-swaddled Alyna!

Hi, that's me at the hospital :)

This is what I drew - a family picture, our family of 4..

Mei-mei Alyna has arrived - Day 1

I am happy to announce that my mei-mei was born on 11 January 2012 at 1613pm.  Her full name is Alyna (pronunced as A-Lyn-Na) Tai Jing En.  She weighed 3.34 kg (Definitely heavier than me, who weighed 2.97kg at birth) and was 50 cm in height.

The night before Mummy had to go to the hospital, she prepared me for mei-mei's arrival.  She told me that she would be going to the hospital to give birth to mei-mei.  I was totally excited, yet very nervous, as I could not imagine how mei-mei was going to 'come' out of my Mummy's stomach. Also I felt sad that she had to be in the hospital for a few days.

Let me show you some pictures of my beautiful sister, whom I am so fond of. So far, I've been good.  No tinge of jealousy towards her and both Mummy and Daddy are so glad. Oh, did I tell you that mei-mei also bought me a Barbie doll set.  Forgot to take a picture of that to show you...  it's ok, pictures of mei-mei are more important and interesting.

A very happy Papa, with Alyna

Mummy is so glad it is DONE!

That's me and Joshie - so excited about our mie-mei, trying to
sneak a closer look at her.

Everyone at home came to visit.

Happy New Year! It's 2012!

It's the start of 2012.   Let's start the year on a good note.

After all the year-end celebrations, we decided that it was time to slow down and to start working hard. So well, Mummy made me learn and practise my alphabets...

Princess, for a day?

I couldn't resist owning this princessy outfit from H & M.  I insisted on putting it on, and to my sheer delight, it fitted me well.  Mummy and Daddy loved how I looked in it, and was convinced to buy for it.  I wanted to wear it immediately and had to be coaxed out of it.

I went home and proudly showed it to everyone at home, Grandma, Grandpa, Ah-Yi, Uncle Bernard, Jiu-Jiu and Faith Che-Che.

I loved every bit of it... and it made a great outfit together with my 'kok-kok' shoes!

Yes, I am every bit a girly girl!

Fun with the iphone camera

I have a new-found hobby - taking pictures of anything and anyone around me, using my Mummy's iphone camera.  Yes, I am honing my photography skills. Who knows, I may well become a famous photographer one day.

That's my Mummy working on her laptop.

Tis' junior, our cutie doggie.

I thought Junior's lil black nose is very cute.

Junior lying under the table, waiting for some attention
to be given to him.

Guess who this is - my mei mei!!

It's another year in Kinderland

Trying out my new uniform the nite before school. Fits well!

I'm off to school now!

The holidays have ended and we are off to another year.  I will be turning 4 years old.  Isn't it really fast!

This is my 2nd year in Kinderland.  I am in Nursery this new year, and I get to put on this new uniform to school, no longer the tee-shirt and shorts.

On my first day - I was grouchy and couldn't get out of bed. Complained to Mummy that I wanted to sleep in!

Cycling for the first time

I thought I did pretty well for a first-timer.  I had fun cycling around the estate. After cycling, I even spent some time playing at the playground.

After sweating it out, I was totally bushed that night, and I went to bed early (much to the delight of my Mummy and Daddy)

My first bicycle!

Guess what we are up to?

I was putting on my helmet, getting ready for my first cycling experience.  Mummy and Daddy bought me a bicycle for Christmas!

Papa strapping on the helmet. I didn't feel comfy at all, but Papa said
it would be safer with the helmet.

Tah-dah! This is the bicycle I now own!

All geared up and ready to go...

Yes, I am ready...

In action...

Christmas carolling

I have been attending Sunday School for several months... Hmmm, I think I enjoy going to Sunday School. Now I no longer cry, and is able to independently attend classes.  But at times I do get cranky and cry buckets of tears and want my Papa around with me throughout the class.

On Christmas Day on Sunday,  the children presented their parents with a medley of Christmas carols.  To help me know the songs better, Papa had practiced the songs with me at home. So I am now more familiar with these Christmas songs and enjoyed singing them.

More what my year-end fun...

Let me continue with my happening year-end story...

Just like earlier year,  Mummy brought me to her office for her office X'mas party. Of course, Marsya was around too. It was SO much fun! We exchanged prezzies, and this year,  I had extra gifts from Mummy's colleagues.

Giving my gift to Marsya. Hope she liked it!

Marsya che-che had a gift for me too!

Comparing the colours on our tongue after lolly-popping...

This is the name of the graduate school where Mummy and Auntie Siti work.
They hope we will be future scholars one day. We'll work hard, Mummies!

Oooh how I love this bag! Gift from Mummy's colleagues.
This will add to my collection of bags...yay!
This year, we invited gu-gu Grace, Veron and Uncle Kelvin and Yvonne che-che to our Christmas service. So glad to have them around.  After the service,  we headed to Vivocity for Christmas lunch with Ah-Yi,  Uncle Bernard and Joshie.

I love driving the car.  My driving skills is getting better.
Practice makes perfect!
