Photo fun with Mummy

Kinderland Open House

My school had an Open House on 24 Feb. All Moms and Dads were invited to visit the school to know better what their little darlings do in school.

I was so thrilled to see Mummy and Daddy, and my little meimei.

March holidays

The Mar holiday was a blast! Mummy was home, and we did many fun things together.

She brought me and Alyna out to Orchard to shop.  We baked muffins at home, and we also tried out this baking place called Totts.  And... we also went to the ZOO!

Zoo Outing was FUN! And of course, that was Alyna's first visit. But looks like we gonna make more trips there. Alyna slept throughout our time there. Only woke up towards the end, when we were about to go home, for her milk.  We spent quite a bit of time at the Kids' World.  I played at the waterplay area, and got myself all soaked through.

Recommended by Ah-Yi, Mummy decided to take me to try it out since it was the holidays. The concept is "Bake and Go". So it is for kids who want to have a go at baking, the EASY way.  And truly it was for me.

1. We just had to choose the dough - chocolate, strawberry or vanilla flavour, and also the topping.  There was chocolate chips, chocolate rice or peanut.  I chose the chocolate and strawberry. YES! I made two tins of cookies.
2. Knead to soften the dough
3. Press out small amounts of the dough
4. Cut out the shape you like
5. Sprinke the topping of your choice on the cookie dough
6. Placed the cookie dough into the oven

And viola! In about 15 mins, the cookies are ready to be savoured! Yummz!

I am all set!

See, I am hard at work!

Oops, forgot to put on the apron only
till the later part. Well, never too late!

Now working on the strawberry cookies. So fun!

Cookies are ready! Smells Fantastic :)

Me with one tin of cookies.

What a great day of baking! Thanks, Mum. Let's visit again.

Different ways of carrying Alyna

Mummy has 2 different ways of carrying Alyna when we are out.  One is the Pupsik sling and the other is the Baby Bjorn carrier.

Alyna likes both.  She usually sleeps when she is put into either of them.

Alyna can be carried forward facing once her neck is stronger and firmer

Sisters forever!

A sister is someone more special than words. She's love mixed with friendship;
the best things in life. She's so much inner beauty blended together with an outward appearance that brings a smile to the happiness in your heart...

A sister is one of the most precious people in the story of your life. And you'll always be
together, whether youre near or apart. Together, you have shared some of the most special moments two people have ever shared.

A sister is a perspective on the past, and she's a million favorite memories that will always last.

A sister is a photograph that is one of your most treasured possessions. She's a note that arrives on a special day, and when there's news to share, she's the first one you want to call.

A sister is a reminder of the blessings that come from closeness. Sharing secrets. Disclosing dreams.Learning about life together.

A sister is a confidante and a counselor. She's a dear and wonderful friend, and -- in certain
ways -- something like a twin. She's a hand within your hand; she's so often the only one
who really understands. A sister is honesty and trust enfolded with love. She's sometimes the only person who sees the horizon from your point of view, and she helps you to see things more clearly. She is a helper and a guide, and she is a feeling, deep inside, that makes you wonder what you would ever do without her.

What is a sister? She's someone more special than words; someone beautiful and unique.
And in so many ways, there is no one who is loved so dearly.

Junior - the dog in our lives

Alyna, at 1 month old, with Junior

Me at 1 month plus, with Junior.
Both Alyna and I have a picture with Junior, our faithful doggie.

Alyna with a hairband

Mummy used to put on hairbands for me when I was a baby. So Alyna has inherited all my hairbands. What do you think of Alyna with a hairband? Papa prefers meimei with just a hairclip... He said she looks like a tennis player with the hairband.

Alyna likes to be burped this way

And this is what Papa is good at doing.  Burping Alyna by carrying her up on his shoulders.

Alyna's double eyelids

Look carefully at Alyna's eyes.  What do you see? Mummy is wondering if her double eyelids are appearing? Looks like but we are not too sure for now. Gotta wait and see...

More about Alyna @ her 2nd month

How time flies! Our dearie Alyna has turned 2 months old. She just went for her 2nd month jab at Dr Ong (our PD) who said she is growing well, weighing 5.4kg and is 58 cm in height. Jia you, meimei.

Meimei is a good girl and we thank God that she sleeps well at night... most of the time being able to sleep through, sometimes waking up just once for her milk and sometimes none! Well done, meimei!

Oh another update.  Meimei loves sucking her hands.  Yes, something new after we removed her mittens. Mummy and Daddy said that I used to do the same, but it seems Alyna is more serious. She can even such her hands till she falls asleep.

Hmm.. what else. Oh yes. Alyna now loves to smile. She smiles the most when she wakes up in the morning. She smiles when we sing to her, when we chat with her... and she even replies with her 'coos and oohs' sounds. And I guess she is very fond of her che-che - ME! She smiles at me whenever I talk to her too.

Card for Grandpa

March 2nd was Grandpa's 63rd birthday! Woohoo... Happy Birthday Grandpa! May you be blessed with joy and good health.   Mummy helped me make a card for Grandpa.

Valentine's Day

Daddy was so sweet and thoughtful. Why do I say that?  Well, for Valentine's Day, he surprised Mummy and Grandma with a bouquet for flowers. Mummy received her fave, tulips and Grandma had roses. Both grinned from ear to ear upon receiving their surprises.

Isn't a huge bouquet?

Grandma with her flowers, and I have my small bouquet too..

Hee.. my lil bouqet isn't from Joshie.
It was flowers from the gift hamper for Alyna.
