Alyna loves her fan

Oooh... weather in Singapore lately has been scorching.  Everyone is complaining about the heat.  Alyna too! With her thick crowning glory... she is definitely one who does not enjoy the hot weather.  So her stroller is now equipped with a portable fan.  The cool air from the fan makes her really happy, and she will be able to lie in there for a longer time.

An afternoon at the Barrage

Well, there we go again... Letting our kite into the big blue skies at Marina Barrage.  Thanks to the windy condition, our kite went up into the air within minutes. Easy peasy job when there's wind.   This time we went prepared for a picnic.  Thanks to Grandma, we had quite a spread of foodies - sausages, nuggets, bite-sized pizzas, fruits - water melon and guava.

My transformed room

I have too many toys, and too little storage space for my things, and Alyna's too.  Also Papa felt I do not have a proper place for learning.  So my room has been transformed, or should I say re-organized.

So here's a peek into my "new" room.  I love it, and of course, it is MUCH neater than before!

Proper study desk for a tiny me!

Putting the desk into good use.

Alyna : Grabbing and Biting

Alyna now enjoys grabbing things, and putting things into her mouth.  Ah, that's something which I do not do so much when I was at Alyna's age.

Fun with Alyna

Somehow I am good at amusing Alyna.  She breaks out into smiles whenever I call her, I sing to her or when I play with her.

Well, I am happy that meimei loves me so much. I love her too.

Watch us in this video having our bit of fun...

Alyna down with fake measles

Little Alyna suddenly came down with high fever and Mummy rushed her down to the doctor.  Doctor couldn't tell what caused the fever, and told us to observe and to feed her the medicine.

A few days later, thankfully, the fever subsided... but, Alyna broke out into rashes. Red spots appeared on her face and her body.  Again we took her to the doctor, and according to Dr Ong, she had fake measles. Hmmm.... Mummy and Daddy have never heard of it though. But well, Dr Ong said not to worry as the rashes would go away in a couple of days and they did!

Alyna turned!

21 May 2012 at 18 weeks old - A significant milestone for Alyna.  She rolled over on her stomach.  Well done, Alyna! We are all so proud of you.

This means we gotta be careful, and cannot leave Alyna on the bed alone.  At night, Mummy and Daddy are also very cautious not to place anything near her in case they get in her way when she turns.

Birthday celebration in Kinderland

I often come home from school, excitedly sharing about the goodie bags given by my classmates who celebrate their birthdays in school.

Knowing I would lso love to celebrate my birthday in school too, Mummy decided to organize one for me, way ahead of my birthday which is during the June holidays.

Well, it was a Princess-themed birthday, from the cake, to the goodie bag, and the cutleries. I was SO excited and couldn't wait for the day to arrive and finally it did.

Thank you, Mummy for making it happen for me :)

Welcome to my classroom, and here are all my little
friends, all seated patiently while we prepare the cake.
My special guests - on the left, Kor Kor Gerald (yes, he is the
boy who 'likes' me; on the right, it's Joshie.

Alyna and Grandma came along too...

What a loving kor kor, isn't he?  Mummy and Daddy were

Open House at Kinderland

It's the end of Term 2, and it's time for our June holidays.  On the last week of school (in May), parents were invited to the school to view all the project works we have done.  For Chinese class, we learnt about caterpillars and butterflies.  For English class, we learnt about ants.  We also performed an item for all parents. I was so excited and took lotsa pictures with my friends.
