Hong Kong - Day 1 (17 Feb)

Hong Kong - Day 1 (17 Feb)

This was a free and easy trip. Mummy planned the itinerary and Daddy (the expert on map-reading) navigated the way to places we wanted to visit.  We took the MTR and walked a lot!
The MTR was easy, except that the people walked really fast!

We were told that Hong Kong isn't stroller-friendly and decided to leave my stroller at home. So Mummy and Daddy carried me a lot for this trip - times where I didn't want to walk, when I was sleepy, and when I was just too slow.

What we all enjoyed was the cold weather.  It was coming to the end of the winter season, yet it was still rather cold.  People there were all snuggly wrapped up, and so were we!

Day 1 was a "take it easy" and "venture around" day.

At Jordan MTR (nearest to our hotel), before we took the train. Looks just the MRT
station in Singapore, except the peopl there walk really FAST!
So Mummy and Daddy carried me for fear of me being knocked down.

Many people were queuing for this snack. You could choose anything from
fishballs, sausages, mushroom etc - lots of choices.  They would be stringed into sticks,
deep-fried and dipped in some special sauces.  Sinful, but slurpz!

In the mood for a pose...
The weather was cold. I didn't have thick enough jackets.
So we went shopping at Ladies Street for thicker winter jackets
Went to many shops and finally found some at Bossini.

This white vest is one of my new jackets.
Nice and comfy.
Just before dinner, I saw this outside 7-11. I wanted
a toy too.
So Papa relented... .

Guess what I got - a sweet!

Finally, dinner! Our legs were so tired from the walking.
Settled for some hotel noodles - a shop along Ladies Street.
